I'm a software engineer based in Maryville, Tennessee — Blount County born and raised. I've spent twenty years shipping production code across full-stack web, backends, data pipelines, and custom tools. The last few years have been heavy on AI integrations and agent systems — which is where the agency lives now.
The pattern I kept seeing at every small business I worked with was the same: a stack of tasks that didn't need a human, but no one had the time to automate them. SaaS tools almost fit. Custom builds were overkill. AI agents — narrow, well-trained, supervised — sit exactly in that gap. So I built one. Then I founded an agency to build more.
The agency started in January 2026. ELATUM — AI guest support for short-term rental operators in the Smokies — is the first product. Local-first by design, because that's the work I know how to do. The next agents will be too.
How I work
- One operator, end-to-end. You talk to the person who builds the thing.
- Weekly progress, always visible. No three-month black boxes.
- Plain language. If I can't explain it to a non-technical owner, I haven't thought it through.
- I'd rather tell you no. If an agent isn't the right fix, I'll say so. Bad fits are bad business for both of us.

When I'm not building something, I'm probably at a trailhead somewhere in the Smokies figuring out the next problem to solve.
